  • Hub City Station Event Center 1923 6th Avenue SE, Ste 104 Aberdeen, SD, 57401 United States (map)

This is a series of writing seminars, for anyone wanting to improve their current writing project, or anyone wanting to start something new.

Each session will focus on a different topic. You can attend one, or you can attend all.

Seminars are $20 per person, per session, payable on the day. Please send Liza Kollman a private message to RSVP so she knows how many to plan for for each session. Each seminar will also be broadcast over Zoom for any of you who are not local

April 9: Character Driven Fiction vs. Plot Driven Fiction vs. Setting Driven Fiction (YES! It's important to know the difference!)

About the instructor: Liza Kollman holds a degree in education from USD and Master's degree in creative writing from Pine Manor College in Boston. She has taught writing at the ARCC and independently for seven years.

There is soda, beer and wine available for purchase on location and popcorn to snack on as well. Feel free to bring your own snacks and (non-alcoholic) drink if you wish.
