Join us at Hub City Station for another great night of comedy with a showcase featuring four road comics, Aleda Windels, Ian-Reiland Smith, Jerry Irby, and Chris Freier.
Aleda Windels is a magnetic and absurd personality that's sure to peek your curiosity. This charming comic and musician wins crowds over with her cunning wit and powerful voice. This multi talented performer will have you giggling hysterically with her observant and poignant humor. She is one of only two women in Sioux Falls to bring home the Larry Brinkman trophy. Aleda has performed in venues all over the United States including Flappers in Burbank, California and Dry Heat Comedy Club in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Look out for more exciting things to come from this comic in the next issue of Sioux Falls Stage Magazine.
Ian Reiland-Smith is an up and coming comedian from sunny Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The locals regard him as a "local legend" and "definitely not annoying." Ian elegantly blends thoughtful, witty, and sometimes introspective humor with stupid, silly, slapstick buffoonery. It's like a glass of wine at a dive bar, or Kid Rock at the Metropolitan Opera. Ian was the winner of the 2022 year end Sioux Falls Funniest Comic competition.
Jerry Irby started his comedy career in early 2020. Since then he has been a 3 time winner of the Larry Brinkman (Sioux Falls funniest comic) and is a constant crowd favorite. Jerry has most recently performed on Sno Jam Comedy Festival. Jerry has also worked with Day Peace, Skyler Bolks and Nathan Hults. He can be found performing regularly at Boss' Comedy Club in Tea, SD. Jerry was featured in an issue of Sioux Falls Stage magazine. Chris Freier will lull you to laughter with his dry wit. He was a two-time winner of the monthly contest for the Larry Brinkman award (Sioux Falls funniest comic). Chis also performed at Sno Jam comedy festival in 2022 and 2023 in Sioux Falls.
